Discover our range of telecare equipment to alert assistance when you have an epileptic seizure. Telecare equipment, such as a bed sensor, can promote a sense of independence for those living with epilepsy whilst providing peace of mind and reassurance for carers.
Bed sensor for epileptic seizures at night
A bed sensor senses your movement, breathing, and heartbeat and can detect the changes that take place when a seizure occurs. The sensor monitors you while you are sleeping and will raise an alarm when it detects you are having an epileptic seizure.
The intelligent falls pendant is a lightweight pendant that allows you to press a button to generate an alarm call from anywhere in your home.
Bed sensor features
- Our Careium Bed Alarm operates on the European Social Alarm frequency 869MHz and complies with high safety, health, and environmental protection requirements, including CE.
- The Careium Bed Alarm set consists of a soft, flexible bed sensor and a mBox 9200. The water-resistant, easy-to-clean pressure sensor is used on top of the mattress and is usually under the bed sheet.
- On the main unit, you can set different absence times before an alarm is raised. For example, if you exit the bed and do not return within 15 minutes during the night, the alarm will be raised, and help will arrive.
